A New Collective, Decentralized and Purpose-Driven Ethics in the Digital Age
Swarm Ethics™ as a novel paradigm stands at the cross-roads of complex systems, anthropology and digital technologies. Perception-action based it leans on the alignment and synchronization principles of swarm intelligence to shape in real-time, agile, emerging collective ethics.
Katja Rausch is the founder of House of Ethics and author of Swarm Ethics™. She is a business strategist specialized in Ethics applied to IT, AI and Emergent Technologies. Until 2019, Katja was Professor of Information Systems and Business Linguistics at the Sorbonne – for 12 years – and Professor for Dataethics at the Paris School of Business – 4 years. Katja Rausch also was a management business consultant for 6 years with Booz Allen & Hamilton in NYC and Director of Strategy for an IT company in Paris where she advised world leaders like Cartier, Nestlé France, Lafuma and Intermarché. Author of 6 books, with the latest being “Serendipity or Algorithm” (2019, Karà éditions). Katja Rausch is a Linguist and specialist of 19th century Scientific Literature – Alma Mater: Sorbonne University, Paris. Holding additional diplomas in digital marketing, audiovisual and publishing (Paris IV- Sorbonne), MBA leadership (A.B. Freeman School of Business, New Orleans).
Daniele Proverbio is a scientist, writer, innovator, and thinker. He is the co-author of Swarm Ethics™ and the Director of Interdisciplinary Research at the House of Ethics. He studied Physics of Complex Systems in Turin, with interdisciplinary minors in Bioethics and Social Complexity at the Scuola di Studi Superiori “F. Rossi”. He holds a PhD at the intersection of AI, Complex Dynamical Networks and Computation, as well as a MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs. Currently, he is affiliated with the University of Trento (IT), where he pursues research on the role of crisis and critical transitions in Complex Systems.
