Alexandra Psaltidou
(Co-founder and Computer Science Advisor)
Mrs. Alexandra Psaltidou, Computer Scientist, Educator, and Co-founder of the Institute of Philosophy and Technology in Greece. She has more than 24 years of teaching experience in secondary education and the private sector as a computer scientist. She was the Dean of Students Activities for the Gymnasium of the American College of Greece, organizing a variation of educational and voluntary activities for vulnerable groups, social disparities, senior citizens, and the elderly.
As the coordinator of Computer Labs in ACG, she was responsible for computer education pedagogies and for implementing programs for students, teachers, educators, and senior citizens. She is certified for ICT and distant learning. She has been awarded from the Ministry of Education for her initiative in educational scenarios about Safer Internet. She has co-authored educational books on computer science and information technology. Currently, she is a computer science teacher at Pierce-The American College of Greece.
